Santiam Canyon School District is seeking a passionate and student-centered Secondary Social Studies Teacher to join the team at Santiam Junior/Senior High School. The successful candidate will create engaging, standards-based learning experiences that foster critical thinking, civic responsibility, historical inquiry, and an understanding of geography, economics, and government. The teacher will build positive relationships with students, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to a school culture focused on academic excellence and student success.

Santiam operates on a 4-day school week and teacher contracts are for 174 workdays.
